Some of the MPG team joined the Construction Workers guard of honour welcoming Sir Steve Redgrave in to the Olympic Stadium. MPG were proud to have had the opportunity to work on the Stadium, the Acquatics Centre and also the Athletes Village. Many congratulations to TeamGB and ParalympicsGB for their inspirational success at London 2012!

A week after the Saint Gobain Trophy we were again delighted to receive Silver in the ‘Ceilings Projects over £500k’ category of the Contractors Awards, for our work on The Quadrant 3 building in Regent Street, London.
On Friday 8th June 2012 MPG Group attended the finals of the Saint Gobain Gypsum International Trophy Awards, featuring award entries from 66 contractors across 28 countries and 6 categories.
Taken from figures calculated to the end April 2012, MPG are proud to announce the significant milestone of achieving one million working hours accident free, reiterating to its peers and clients alike that the company supports a culture that embraces safety and wellbeing as a key priority.

Michael Gavin, Cheif Executive of MPG was pleased to attend the British Gypsum Trophy Awards in Oxford last month. MPG were shortlisted in the Mixed Use Category, for The Olympic Aquatics Centre in London.
Congratulations to Shane Cope from the Kidbrooke project for winning February's Quality Award. His prize is a £25 tool voucher which can be redeemed in the Buying Dept.
Runners up S Longman, V Alungulesei, D Tambrea, A Demanuic & L Miroiu from our Saffron Square, Blackheath Road, Hayes & Langdon sites all receive MPG Quality polo shirts which will be sent over the next week or so.
We are delighted that MPG received a Highly Commended Award for Training Innovation at the AIS Conference in November 2011. The judges comments were very complimentary on our Project Excellence programme, Talent Management programme and also the examples we gave on our CSR schools projects which give something back to local schools while developing our employees at the same time.
MPG Group Ltd were proud to be invited back to St Mary’s High School in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire for the third year running to assist with their Year 11 Aim Higher Day on 20 January 2012.
