EXTERNAL SOLUTIONS
If we look at the external elements of a building, MPG can deliver whole facades solutions. From Lightweight Steel Walling and all types of Render and Cladding systems, through to Windows and Curtain Walling. We also complement this by offering a vast array of associated trades such as Brise Soleil, Louvres, Balconies/Balustrades and architectural metalwork.
Lightweight External Wall Framing
The demands of the industry for creative architecture, thermal performance, speed in erection, versatility and environmental issues have never been as great and they are increasing all the time. The result of these pressures has led to substantially different forms of new and exciting construction and MPG are at the cutting edge in providing these new forms of construction into both new and re-modelling markets.
Terracotta Rainscreen Cladding
This form of rainscreen cladding is becoming extremely popular with both architects and building owners. It is an innovative and cost effective cladding based on a proven principle of the ventilated cavity using suspended clay tiles in a rainscreen.
Metal Rainscreen Cladding
Metal rainscreen claddings are available in a number of different materials including aluminium, zinc and copper. The bespoke panels can either be finished in powder coated paint or left in a natural finish. In addition to standard wall panels we can also supply curved and pre-formed corner and soffitt panels and we offer a large range of bespoke feature metal work to compliment the installation including flashings, copings and cappings.
Timber Rainscreen Cladding
Like the metal rainscreen cladding, the timber rainscreen cladding is also available in a large range of different timbers including Red Cedar and Larch and like the metal cladding they can be either left in a natural finish or finished with either a specialist sealant or paint.
External Render
Used to a very large extent in the rest of Europe for many years and becoming increasingly popular in the UK because of the advantages that the thin coat silicone render system can offer to the industry. Many main contractors, architects and clients are now using this type of technology on their projects and the system is now widely used on all types of building and construction methods. A range of textures, profiles and colour combinations permit expansion joint free applications, guaranteed against cracking and with the range of colour available to give architects the licence to thrill!
