HEALTH AND SAFETY INITIATIVE

Health and Safety Initiatives

MPG have recently rolled out a training initiative to establish where our training needs are greatest.  All site managers will identify areas where training and additional training is required and will endeavour to remedy these needs through our external training advisors. This will be an ongoing process to be regularly reviewed to ensure we keep up to date with both onsite and statutory requirements.Regular and contemporary bulletins are sent out to all sites and issues arising are addressed through alerts, tool box talks and bulletins.  The most recent being the need to ensure any accidents and incidents are reported, in the correct manner and to the relevant people and agencies.

MPG have a KPI table used as a monitoring tool which enables us to keep a contemporaneous check on site progress and identifies any shortcomings in the site management and physical conditions of the site itself.

The inspections are carried out twice monthly and the average of the two scores is representative of the site performance.  All actions are addressed as soon as is reasonably practicable and immediate actions addressed at the time of inspection.
